Yoga resources for USC and the community
Timothy Grundy joined an Iyengar Yoga class in 2012 only to return the next day and every day since. In yoga he discovered a practice that helped resolve the mental knots and daily frustrations left in the wake of resolving thorny language questions he encountered as an art history translator. By 2015 he began his teacher training at the Los Angeles Iyengar Yoga Institute and became a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher in 2017. Since then he has taught Iyengar Yoga in studios in Berlin and Los Angeles.
His classes are open to beginner and intermediate students. They introduce and build on principles of alignment and stability, mobility, and balance. They are intended for students new to yoga, those returning to their practice, or seeking to deepen their existing practice with more precise instructions. Iyengar Yoga is for every age, body type, and fitness level. You will discover a safe and systematic progression of study to develop your skills and abilities, within each class and from class to class.
